1. Day

• Hotel Pickup: We will begin our exciting day by picking you up from your hotel in Kampala early in the morning. Our friendly guide will greet you and provide a brief overview of the day’s itinerary as we set off towards Jinja.

• Mabira Forest Stop: On our way to Jinja, we’ll make a stop at the lush Mabira Forest. Here, you’ll have the chance to stretch your legs and explore the natural beauty of one of Uganda’s largest rainforests. Enjoy a short nature walk, taking in the diverse flora and fauna. This is a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and breathe in the fresh forest air.

• Griffin Falls Adventure: Next, we will continue our journey to the Griffin Falls. Upon arrival, get ready for an exhilarating ziplining experience through the forest canopy. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you soar above the trees. After ziplining, we’ll embark on a nature walk lasting about 1-2 hours, giving you time to immerse yourself in the serene environment and spot some local wildlife. Snacks and drinks will be provided to keep your energy up.

• Source of the Nile and Lunch Break: After our adventures at Griffin Falls, we’ll proceed to the Source of the Nile. Here, we’ll take a break for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy a variety of Ugandan dishes while overlooking the river. This is a great time to relax and refuel before our next activity.

• Boat Ride on the Nile and Lake Victoria: Following lunch, we’ll embark on a scenic boat ride on the Nile River and Lake Victoria. This cruise will offer stunning views of the river and lake, as well as an opportunity to learn about the historical and geographical significance of the Nile. Keep your camera ready for some incredible photo opportunities. Throughout the boat ride, we’ll have snacks and drinks available to keep you refreshed.

• Arrival at Jinja Nile Resort: We will arrive at Jinja Nile Resort in the evening, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and an overnight stay. Set along the Nile, the resort offers beautiful views, comfortable accommodation, and a relaxing atmosphere to end the day.

• Breakfast at Jinja Nile Resort: Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge, featuring a variety of local and international dishes. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings as you prepare for another day of adventure.

• Morning Activity Options: Horse Riding, Rafting, Fishing, or Kayaking: After breakfast, we will meet at the camp, where you can choose between four exciting activities:

  • Horse Riding: Explore the beautiful landscapes around Jinja on horseback, guided by experienced instructors.

  • White Water Rafting: Experience the thrill of rafting on the Nile’s rapids, with expert guides ensuring your safety and enjoyment.

  • Fishing: Try your hand at fishing in the Nile, with the chance to catch some local species.

  • Kayaking: Paddle along the Nile, taking in the sights and sounds of the river at your own pace.

• Lunch in Jinja: Following your chosen morning activity, we’ll gather for a lunch break in Jinja. Enjoy a variety of local and international dishes at a cozy restaurant, and take some time to relax and share your morning experiences.

• Return to Kampala: After lunch, we’ll begin our journey back to Kampala. We’ll ensure you are comfortably dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon, concluding our memorable two-day adventure.
